BMW Motorrad introduces the BMW R 1200 R: Dynamic meets Design

Powerful all-rounder set to impress Thai Big Bike fans at 2015 Bangkok Motorbike Festival

Bangkok.BMW Motorrad Thailand is set to unveil the all-new BMW R1200R roadsterat the 2015 Bangkok Motorbike Festival at Central World on January 28.Compact, tight, and lively, the BMW Motorrad R 1200R is the ultimate expression of BMW’s roadster heritage embodied by the flat-twin boxer engine, a stripped-down classic equally at home on city streets or the open road.

Mr. Markus Glaeser, Head of BMW Motorrad Thailand observed that, “The BMW Motorrad R 1200 R offers uncommon riding versatility in a single muscular package. Its boxer-twin powerhouse delivers dynamic torque at both ends of the range, while thegold anodized upside-down telescopic front fork makes for agile response and stability at any speed. With its roots in the pure roadster tradition, but an eye to the future in its Dynamic ESA, Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), and Ride Modes Pro, it’s no surprise that this is the motorcycle that inspired our groundbreaking BMW Concept Roadster.”

The BMW R1200R is priced at THB (1,120,000) (VAT incl.). It will be on display for the first time in Thailand at the Bangkok Motorbike Festival, Central World, from January 29 to February 1.

I hope your dream come true Betty
Betty In my way I thinking, if you think about having a bike , a car, truck, SUV or some land to build a house you think about it a lot.
    your dream will come true.

Way too much "computerisation" for me.
If anything goes wrong and you're not next to a BMW techy you're stuffed.

Having said that I'd love one.

Too heavy it weighs 230 kg.
Don't fancy picking that up in soft dry sand.
