    Bangkok. BMW Motorrad Thailand executives led by Mr. Markus Glaeser, General Manager (far left) officially handed over the first locally-assembled BMW F 800 GS to the first customers in Thailand at BKK Motorcycle Co. Ltd., Chong Nonsi. The BMW F 800 GS is the ultimate versatile enduro machine with sporty genes, appropriate for any riding conditions.It is the second BMW motorcycle to be locally assembled at the BMW Group Manufacturing plant in Rayong, the only BMW production facility globally that assembles vehicles for all three brands: BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad.



    The F 800 GS is available in Kalamata Metallic Matte, Cordoba Blue and Alpine White 3 with prices starting at THB 530,000 (including VAT) at authorized BMW dealerships throughout Thailand.

    It would be nice to see them make the R1200GS or S1000RR here, but they probably won't be producing their flagship bikes in LOS (a la Ducati- they're now making the 899 Panigale locally and selling it for 250K less than the import version, but the 1199 version is still made in Italy and likely will remain so).
    There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
