| The local old fellas are a very well dressed interesting lot of individuals. This is only a small town, I seen very little poverty and the locals seemed to be doing it easy. ![]() |

| ^ It ain't no bangkok with a large pay for play scene but I'm sure its there if you look for it. Also remembering that its Muslim dominated so these things are hidden and there's more of a pub and tavern scene with a few outside bars. Its up to you if you want to party or just cruise along. Google up Kuching and check it out. I tended to go to the markets and interact with the locals over a few coldies.

| Stephen bennet. " The portrait painter " I try not to post images unless they are sharp and distinctive but I will make an exception with these next lot as they are extraordinary, but flash damaged. I walked into an art gallery and was gob smacked to come across this fella and his amazing talent of painting the indigenous people of the world. He is American and travels the world painting and displaying his art. The powers of Kuching had commissioned him to paint there people and I was lucky enough to stagger into his gallery and discuss his art with him. Google him up if you want to see more of his brilliant work. ![]() |
