The process is what the argument is all about reinv!
everyone knows Samak is a poor PM, but so are Bush and Brown etc etc
Samak was elected by a reasonably fair process, although the media were used rather unfairly. If PAD are successful in replacing him, maybe by an even worse PM, then the democratic process will have taken two steps backwards.
If you think democracy is a good thing, then the only way to get rid of Samak is by the electoral process, or by his own party deciding he is not fit for the position.
I have reported your post
unfortunately doing it by the book doesent seem to be working at the moment mate, the same gangsters are in power, im not suggesting another coup is the answer at all, but it doesent seem as if the current process is acpable of dealing with the problemOriginally Posted by Marmite the Dog

maybe im influenced by being surrounded by the views of middle class bangkokians, but they are unanimous in their views on this fool, and they will lead this country forward, or backwards, not the dirt farmers who the system wont allow, not nice but true
we won it at wemberlee

Well Mr. Samak doesn't run easlily and he gives very long speeches.
DAAD is lineing up wonder how that will go.
Do believe Thailand has some rough days ahead.

on the basis of if you get lost, you retrace yer steps and start again, how many coups and fallen got. in a row is it now? how much of a circus is this place? do ya'll believe the current syetem is working? if the system isnyt working then changes need to be made,Originally Posted by kingwilly

It's Ok now guys they fired OOPS reassigned the Police Chief today, good plan. stopped to soon
In Thailand the party with the best funding and free-bee's to the poor, will always be elected, the middle-class don't have votes enough to beat them. The poor live day by day and don't think about tomorrow, I can't really say that I blame them for that, they are more or less slaves in there own country, and nobody seem to be interested in changing that.
The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.
