Yesterday I went from Mo Chit to Hua Lamphong on BTS/MRT. There's a checklist of the surefire idiotic things you will see Thais do.

Struggle with ticket machines, putting money in/getting their change - can be confusing for them
Standing on the wrong side of an escalator while a queue of others just stands and waits, without saying anything, of course.
Those two or three steps they take before they actually go on the escalator, making some farangs crash into the back of them.
Entering a train before allowing others to exit.

Had to post this one. Putrid garbage stinking out the mall the other day, on the food floor. But, mai pen rai, life goes on, even if we're sat near it eating. Wouldn't want a brainless monkey who dumped it to lose face, eh.

Primates at Monkey World in Dorset are shown to be smart enough to create basic tools to get food, use straws & screwtop bottles of water, peel bananas and eat corn on the cob. In safari parks they can even cross the road safely as they know to associate moving cars with danger. It's amusing when some are shown their reflections in a mirror for the first time.

Not sure what connection that has with Thais, but just sayin'

Buy your ticket, then the yellow arrows direct you to a dead end, cordoned off. Best way is to duck under it without security seeing you

My MiL got together with a group of elderly ladies and they discussed the matter. There solution was to find a local pregnant woman and have her spit in my daughters ear.

years ago we took the youngest son to the mother and child hospital in Vientiane for an eye infection. As he was so young there diagnosis was to have my wife squirt breast milk in his eye 3 times a day. Yeah right. Of to udon to see a semi decent doc. They amaze me at times

I see incredible instances of Thai retardness every day but it is usually always the street monkey Somchai who would not know shit from sticky pudding.

Get away from him and the Thais are quite normal.

Example, this week Somchai the monkey was givin a job to paint the curbs Red and Black Squares down my road.
