    I liked this clip ...



    I liked it because it was REAL ... no fancy shite, just 'life' in reality.

    I HATED the producers choice of audio ... just turn it down.


    Welcoming other's contribution ... particularly 'Home Movies'.

    Just adds to the earthiness of the thread.

    No, I understood. What I was saying is that there are still rural areas and villages in Phuket that are not unlike the Isaan scenes depicted in the OP video., albeit not many.

    Off the beaten track eh Yeah My late wife and I used to love going around these little away from it all places you mention around Phuket by Motorcycle, not only was the scenery different but the people too , if you know what I mean

    This is a video shot entirely on Phuket, and a very recent one at that (based on some things that have only been installed in the last year or so). The scenes are more representative of the Phuket that I live in and regularly cycle around.

    80% of the Thai population of Phuket are economic migrants from other Provinces, and the average expat knows far more about Phuket, it's history, location of landmarks and facilities etc, than they do.
