Yes, but they sent me a picture of my car going 130KPH in front of the airport that was so clear you could see the dead bugs on the front license plate, along with a demand for 500 Baht. No complaints, I'm guilty, but ironic how their priorities work.

    yes - I got one the other month - 112 in a 60 zone apparently - 500 baht - 4 fcuking lane highway

I now know they believe that the yellow signs with the curve image and the 60 written on it is the actual speed limit no the recommended speed to take the corner
If you torture data for enough time , you can get it to say what you want.

It must cost taxi drivers more than the fare when they get an airport job.

been trying to pick that fcuker - but not yet - can you mark it on google maps

did not show up with camsam which uses the scdb ( speed camera database ) SCDB.info - The Worldwide Speed Camera Database

showed a couple on the entry to bangkok , but i don't think they worked

I got done at Muek Lek - going uphill from the cement works in the curvy bits

Don't they offer a driver awareness course in Thailand instead of the fine?

I got caught doing 40mph in a 30mph zone recently and opted for a DAC for a few hours, still had to pay the same amount for the course as the fine but didn't get the three points.

Quite an enjoyable afternoon spent in the company of some new drivers

Somebody moved my original comment (which is fine), but I actually posted the opening comment in one of the threads about the Bangkok bombing, since almost all the the video and the Immigration photos from the airport were of such poor quality to be nearly useless.

^ There are no points in Thailand. That's the irony of it, going to the post office to pay the damn thing is more of a nuisance than the 500 Baht itself.
