Don't forget to include the "selfie" so your readers can see you're really stuck in traffic..

Oh wait, you're not actually IN thailand yet, are you? Perhaps leave it off your "LOS blog"...

Well if you intend to move to either Bangkok, Pattaya. Phuket or maybe even Chiang Mai please save your original statement about traffic as a fond memento of how good it is there.

There is also the road to/from Suphanburi on public holidays.

Thailand is the hub of road deaths. More dangerous upcountry where you can really let your two tons of cabbage get rolling.

    Dunno about that.

Brazil in my experience has got the edge on LOS for dangerous speeding drivers who all think they're Ayrton Senna.

The road from Rio to Sao Paulo isn't nicknamed "Death Highway" for nothing.

    Before:

This, along with the abysmal death toll, is what happens when you take a country full of buffalo riding simpletons, and in one generation give them all access to modern motorized vehicles.

    Simpleton madness ensues.

    pedal to the metal

Mr LOS will feel better when he lands in thailand when he can do 1.6 k a hour,
sounds better than 1 mile ph.
Just think if they never built the metro or sky train, bloody hell, what a nightmare it would be . traffic in some cities will never get better, like Manila,Lagos,Cairo, etc, what a bastard
    for the residents to know.
As Boon mee posted, Traffic are quality, so if stuck in traffic, wind up the volume and enjoy.

I have always thought it's rather odd that traffic lights in Bangkok stay red for such a long time.

I would have thought that short lights would mimic ordinary lightless traffic flow much better, and avoid the creation of long lines of banked-up traffic.
