Perhaps I need to start going to church more. LOL
Two days of rain here in Chanthaburi province, first since November. Last week a 40mm day, today a 50mm storm with thunder and lightning.
FIL says "dee mak mak",his durian needed it.
Rain in March our way? More chance of Mr T being the next PM.
At the moment it's 40C in the shade and the pond is getting its bottom nicely tanned.
Church won't help, Western trained Meteorologists might. These muppets must use a blindfold and dartboard as tools of the trade for their forecasts, it's a rarity that they're anything like accurate on the Eastern seaboard. As a golfer relying on previous day forecasts to decide whether to leave home before sunrise the next day, it's the shits!. When visiting my *home* country if they say it'll be clear till 10:45 followed by scattered showers and a thunderstorm at midday, that's what will happen. Easy to plan around it!. Here, I could not count the amount of times it's suppose to be a clear morning and the fucken wipers can't keep up, or we've cancelled on the strength of the forecast only for it to be a cloudless morning perfect for golf. Have a look at local weather reports while there's a severe storm overhead and don't be surprised if they're saying no chance of rain. I laugh at the Missus looking at weather sites to decide if she should get her car washed, as sure as fucking eggs it'll piss down within 24hrs of her having it washed after 5 different forecast sites show NO chance of rain for the week
In short and to end this rant, they're totally useless at weather forecasting.
some nice rain here in Sangkha now - very cooling
got all the windows and doors with screens open downstairs to cool it all off
Two days of 50mm/day this week.
