That's an issue up for robust debate. However, I am aware of the fact that Por is sexually frustrated (I know how it feels, Por, your daughter isn't exactly a hive of carnal activity these days), and I'm going to seek him out a like minded partner.

Likewise, I read, but mainly on the weekend suitably reinforced by a bottle of Jameson’s whiskey. It’s a great way to relax when you are in the middle of nowhere with time on your hands. The booze lets loose the free-wheeling imagination in all of us.

When I’m back in the UK, it’s frightening the cost of books now (even something like a small Hemingway for about 7 quid.) So invariably it’s down to the four or five charity shops in town where you pick up some great classics for about 50p.

As a point of interest som, what are you reading at the moment?

Salem's Lot. Slow for the first couple of hundred pages but it grips you by the bollocks from the midway point onwards. King should be locked up for giving me nightmares.

A great book, and only his second publication, I think.

I think it was just a fleeting moment of lust. Until tonight, when dusk falls and his annex door creeks open revealing an entity which breaths in long, rattling rasps, wearing a grin which exposes a decayed molar. But the eyes, although looking like the soul they had once been the windows to had long since departed, were full of hunger, a ravenous salivating hunger. "I will have your arse, young Slap", they appeared snarl, "even if it amounts to burglary, I shall have your arse".

    Shit, did I dream that.

I may have actually be a Por now without knowing it.

Bram Stoker's Por, soon to be a new york times bestseller.

If you combine your current reading material with booze, no wonder you have nocturnal images of your father-in-law with intentions on your virtue. Unless of course he is a noctambulist with nancy-boy tendencies.
Try some Victorian George Elliot “Middlemarch” or Thomas Hardy “The Return of the Native,” until the apparitions subside.

Download " La sonnambula" (The Sleepwalker) for Por, he will be away with the fairies for months after listening to it. I know I was.
