But lol. I've definitely got a point here... The "Affective Tourists" that come to Thailand to live the family lifestyle are the real losers IMO, much more so than the traditional "Sex Tourist" who knows what he wants, gets it and moves on, with no strings attached.

The affective tourists couldn't get the family life or whatever affective thrill they longed for in Farangland, so they delude themselves in thinking they just "happened" to find the "love of their life" in Thailand and settle with their wonderful (as the Anglos usually love to say) wife-and-kids... give me a break )

They both couldn't detach themselves from their basic procreating urges and couldn't succeed at it in Farangland either. In the end it's really a half-assed life (unlike the Sex Tourist's conscious choice) and of course they're in denial about it.

But yeah, it seems people don't like to look over their own subconscious motivations for breeding and can't take any criticism of their lifestyle, so be it

I live in Pattaya, which is pretty much a childfree zone. Yet we stilll have breeders even here who complain about the place not being "family-friendly" enough.
