I love it here. So in the US if you wanted to have a party you had to ask all surrounding neighbors. Explain all the details and promise the music would be low and not a big production etc etc.

As I am rolling down my street this afternoon I see the field about 50 yards to the north of me being prepped for some big gala. I thought OK no problem, little get together for the temple down the street. Wrong. This is a big throwdown for someone who got married. The land owner is the cousin of the groom.

Here it is 7:45pm and the music is so loud I cannot even talk to my neighbor who is standing right next to me.

So I told my GF time for GG Marts as this is going to be a long one. This is a big shit deal. They have Fn hot dancing girls and lots of them. I would guess the music is so loud that it would be like having your car stereo on about 30 in your car sans the light show..

4) Get further plastered

7) Throw up and pass out

They're not all bad, my neighbors have one all night party on a Saturday night about every 2 months. They always tell me several days In advance, apologize and invite me. I never go since I do not drink or speak Thai. Consideration works both ways, I would never think of complaining about a minor inconvenience that is this seldom and where they have no viable alternative.
