Thread: Pali and Thai

One of the elders and retired teachers offered me to teach me 'Pasa Boran' - the ancient language. I politely declined, I'd have to substantially improve my Thai first.

I wonder if this is Pali, or a historical Thai language?

Apparently some ghosts speak Pasa Boran too, according to a medium, but it sounded like some incoherent nuttering to me, even more so than some of the late night posts on TD.

Might have been Pasa Khom, an ancient form of Khmer that's used in Thailand for kahta, magical inscriptions and incantations and on sak yant tattoos.
