I woke up in a Soho doorway
    A policeman knew my name
He said, "You can go sleep at home tonight
If you can get up and walk away."

I staggered back to the underground
And the breeze blew back my hair
    I remember throwin' punches around
    And preachin' from my chair

    Well, who are you?
(Who are you? Who, who, who, who?)
    I really wanna know
(Who are you? Who, who, who, who?)
    Tell me, who are you?
(Who are you? Who, who, who, who?)
    'Cause I really wanna know
(Who are you? Who, who, who, who?

Now that's an old pic Jackie.
His house still stands along the Mekong. Not a bad joint from what I saw for a town home.
I guess you'd need to be in the capitol for that.

She better have won something. Damn, Sunday morning, I guess I'll have to let the dogs out.

That reminds me, there is an unfinished casino project on the side of a mountain near Pakse. Ah, never mind. Whith the rising tides we know when we're in over our heads.

I gave her some $$ for a bit of a respite and a bit of a donation to the local tribe, we should by now all know the math on that. It's like Laos, all for naught but fun none the less. Well so the government said at the time as we really never were there. But that's another story for another time.

I did a thread a long time ago about Asians and gambling. They do like to press Their luck or so It would seem. No poke at Kim though this thread is nothing more than a representation of places and things we did on our last trip.

As with everything there is always more to the story so what I am bringing to the table is just a snapshot of a place in time,
and over time those places change, remember that.

We have a casino not far from here...but it's not owned by a local tribe.

With my luck, figure I'm better off sitting at home and lighting the cash on fire. Besides...don't like to make donations to the tribe that controls this casino. They're plenty rich enough without my help.

Does the Ho Chunk Nation(formerly known as the WI Winnebago Tribe) run the show at those casinos, or do they hire it out?

Yea, I've donated over the years. Hell why not. Though I'm more disciplined than others. I have thrown a few away just for fun. It's like Los Vegas without the heat. Yes willing to part you of your greens.
I will say they do have a nice all you can eat (yea you need this) buffet of crab legs ect. I get enough crab and leg mind you without traveling the extra mile.

    Or to Asia

Learning to fly at a local temple in Laos. My first attempt editing and adding sound. Bad lighting I know, lot to learn here.

The commander and his family took us to the Falls View Resort at Tad E-Tu, Ban Gnik, Laos for a little pick nick. It was pretty humid thus the camera lens tended to fog up. I was at a spot well below the falls and it was real bad. I did get a few nice pics by wiping off the lens prior to taking the shots.

A real nice place if you like the sound of falling water. It was strange though that a buzzing sound could be heard over the sounds of the water. I figured it must some sort of insects like Cicadas or something.

Here is a bit of footage from the main falls. Worth a visit if you have the time and like this sort of place. I did see some tourists milling about but not too many as it a bit off the radar of most folks.

I did look upstream and they did have a little didie. What I could hear were Cicadia. Down in the valley it was deafening. Those bungalos upon the hill may have been nice and at the price.
