This was at a temple high on a hill we stopped at on the way back from Si Pan Don. The building had several of these pictures that told stories of the past.

Vientianne is my fave capital city in SEA, and Laos is my fave country.
If i knew back then what i know now, i would prolly live in Laos rather than Thailand.
Both peoples, Lao & Isaan are the most loving, giving, genuine people in SEA.
