This was taken standing in the river Barefoot knee deep at the top of Tad Fanes west falls. A 700/800 foot drop so yea pretty exciting and a bit unnerving.

A crap pic but they had this rig to tour us around Don Det to see the old locomotives. We had a cooler of drinks so it was a good time to be had by all. They never asked us for a nickle. Nice folks they were and no hassles at all.

Taken from the historic French rail bridge Leading from Don Khon to Don Det. The rails have long since been removed.

Any rail enthusiasts out there? I'm not getting much feed back but hope your liking the thread.

Many waterfalls around Si Pan Don (four thousand Island) area. This is a partial view of Li Phi falls. The most visited would be Khon Phapheng featured at the start of this thread.

The crew that took us around. The lady with the beer was great fun. Always joking and talking too fast to me.

The French steamer dock on the right. May be Cambodia on the left. It's here where I received messages touting their high speed internet.

Dolphin spotting at the Cambodian border. Saw quite a few but my shutter was too slow. Got it with the gopro though.

A screen shot of the area from maps. I should have done more of this as we were all over the place. Google Maps was a good tool and the mobile 4g device was invaluable. I was lucky as I had escorts for all major excursions. Not on the scooter of course, I was winging it then. The flying fish, HaHa.
