Top Tips and Practical Jokes

Not mine, but funny:
  • Buy a television set exactly like your neighbours. Then annoy them by standing outside their window and changing their channel using your identical remote control.
  • Don't buy expensive 'ribbed' condoms, just buy an ordinary one and slip a handful of frozen peas inside it before you put it on.
  • Don't waste money buying expensive binoculars. Simply stand closer to the object you wish to view.

That actually works and provided us with hours of amusement on a site in Ar Ar ( Saudi)

Company had two villas right up close to each other .
One for the Civil Engineering yobs and one for the elite M & E specialists ( I was naturally in the latter.)

We had a games room in our basement - snooker - darts and, Ahem! Bar.

We were outnumbered by the Civils and they used to come in for the evening - hog the snooker table - destroy our siddiqi stock and then return to their own villa to watch TV.
Pissed us off somewhat but the site manager was in the Civils villa.

We found that if you went into the downstairs bathroom and looked through the airbrick in the wall, you had a direct line of sight to their TV on the patio about 20 ft away
As they were company houses all the furniture etc was identical!
Let the games begin !!!

We could rewind their videos, change channels , turn the tv off etc etc
Used to drive them apeshit and the TV shop man in town made a fortune in callouts from them .

Best of all was when there was a UK Premier League footie match on.

One of us would lurk in the bathroom on standby with the remote whilst others would be watching the same match on our TV.

When a goal seemed imminent the 'nod' was given and their TV was switched off !!

I was there for 4 months and they never caught on !

About the only fun you could have in that Godforsaken place
