Domino cigarettes ( paper packs of 4 or 5 ?) each pack had a domino printed on it - collect a full set and you got a tin of 20 !! Rag and bone men - gave you a day old chick for a bundle of old clothes. Ration books A 6" cube of frozen whale meat for a family of four - half the ration so you could get some bacon as well ! Etc etc etc ! |

| Thailand Travel Forum | ^ Had a look at the Retro Tuck shop- remember most of them . No mention of Tiger Nuts though ?? Anybody out there remember them ? They were about an inch long and as thick as a pencil - tapered to a point at each end . Brown with lighter or yellow bands around them - I can taste the buggers now ! ![]() Four for a penny !!! |
