GWB is like buying a fine vintage wine only to take it home and discover it's vinegar.
^ Two more of year of W. Bush.
Expect more strange statements.
The Economy right now in the U.S. is very odd. Not saying things could slump, but the numbers are odd.

I actually saw Dubya recently in Florida. He came storming past a bunch of us stuck at an intersection in his limo and I only caught a glimpse but it is an image that is burned into my memory.
Instead of just sitting in the car and maybe giving a bit of a restrained greeting, like you would expect of the worlds most powerful man he had his face planted to the window and was wildly waving to everyone like a kid on the short bus on his way to disneyland.

you just gotta know his toughest decision in the last 6 years has been: Maine and fishing? Or Texas and BBQ?

I suppose a lot will depend upon which school we are talking about.
I doubt if they will be reading about how GWB won the west or preparing for GWB Day in The Lebanon anytime soon.
Although i am sure it will create a lot more volunteers for the "terrorist brigade" so we can keep that good old "war on terror " going
^Spot on.

Speaking of hate:
OMFG: Bush are you just that surprised that the Iraqis not only could care less about 'our' sacrifices (what about the tens of thousands of Iraqis who are dead, lack of water, electricity, basic sanitation etc. since the invasion) but the government isn't supporting 'us' either? Who would have thought?White House spokesman Tony Snow took pains to deny a report Wednesday that Bush had privately expressed frustration with the Iraqis for not appreciating American sacrifices made there and with the Iraqi people and their leaders for not supporting the U.S. mission.
C'mon guys, you can spell it. Gimme a V. Gimme an I....
B.I.N.G.O."There's a certain irony if military and political leaders seem to be losing patience with the Iraqis," said Charles Pena, a fellow at the Coalition for a Realistic Foreign Policy and George Washington University's homeland security institute. "We're the ones who created this situation."

Who needs original when there's so much good shit out there, eh?
In an effort to finalize the portrayal of Hezbollah as a benevolent band of misunderstood peasant warriors, and to foster acceptance of other cultures, the BBC retooled its cutest Teletubby character named Laa-laa into Hezbo-Laa-Laa. Sporting a characteristic martyr bandana with the motto "From cradle to grave" written in Arabic, and a suicide belt filled nails and rat poison, this cute and cuddly Terrortubby is intended to show European and American kids that beyond its desire to exterminate the Jew, Hezbollah is, in fact, a caring playmate that will tend to your social needs through a strong presence in the big, generous government!

It's too bad Dubya can't grow a pair and send a couple of B2's over Tehran at 600mph to let that spunk-bucket president of I-ran know he's just 'Giving Peace a Chance' too?
2006-08-26) — Just hours after Iran opened a new plant capable of making plutonium “for peaceful purposes”, U.S. President George Bush assured his Iranian counterpart that any B-2 bombers that appear over Tehran in the near future would also serve peaceful purposes.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad cut the ribbon on the new heavy-water nuclear plant Saturday as part of a month-long Iranian tribute to the effectiveness of the United Nations.
Mr. Bush hailed Iran’s “transparent diplomacy” and said, “I called President Ahmadinejad today to congratulate him, and I told him that if he happens to notice one of them Stealth bombers going over his town at about 600 miles per hour, he can be assured that the pilot has only the best intentions in his heart for world peace.”
“There’s nothing like the B-2 when it comes to giving peace a chance,” Mr. Bush added.
^Wishful thinking.
Leftist hatred of succes completely overwhelms their thinking:
""Imagine a private group that pays billions in taxes, creates millions of jobs and sells things at ultra-low prices. Too good to be true? It's called Wal-Mart-and Democrats, for some reason, want to kill it off... This is all part of a recent trend among Democratic politicians using Wal-Mart as a foil to ingratiate themselves with middle-class voters. This may be good politics. We don't know. But those who participate in such Wal-Mart-bashing reveal themselves to be economic illiterates of the most dangerous sort... A study by economic consultant Global Insight found that, from 1985 to 2004, Wal-Mart slashed food-at-home prices by 9.1%, goods prices by 4.2% and overall consumer prices by 3.1%. If those cuts don't sound huge, consider that, all told, they saved mostly poor and middle-class consumers $263 billion-or $895 per person and $2,329 per household. By now, of course, it's become obvious that Democrats aren't so much anti-Wal-Mart as they are pro-organized labor... Yet despite unions' widely disseminated claims, the wages that Wal-Mart pays its employees are competitive. In 2004, Global Insight found that the average wage nationwide for jobs equivalent to Wal-Mart's was $8.46 an hour. Wal-Mart paid $9.17. Put bluntly, the war against Wal-Mart Stores is a war against the poor, and it's shocking to watch a major political party carry it out... A Zogby Poll...found that 85% of frequent Wal-Mart shoppers pulled the lever for President Bush in 2004, and that 88% of people who never shop there voted for John Kerry. Maybe the split in this country isn't so much red state versus blue, but Wal-Mart vs. non-Wal-Mart. And since 20% of Americans are Wal-Mart shoppers, Democrats might think twice before alienating them any more than they have so far."
