This type of thing is all over the news media of the middle east. This is a drop in the bucket. People like Aunt want you to believe that this is just fear driven paranoia and that this should just be discounted. When do we stop using fear as an excuse and start looking at the reality of what is going on?

This is one of hundreds of similar arab news program segments that broadcast this shit everyday. Aunt wants you do dismiss this stuff. He listens to Bin laden tapes before the western media.

So the nefarious plan is to: "...Show people how respectable and successful they (Muslims) are"? Wow, devious!

Seriously, that's your shocking video? My first thought was 'oh here we go, some heavily editied or loosely doctored 'translation''.

And then I watched it... It's about one guys opinion that people in the West are looking for a pretext to drive Muslims out. Therefore the Muslims in Europe need to focus, ignore provocations, focus any anger in a positive direction, and "act as Ambassadors of Islam" to "show them (Europeans) their moral values and success".

So in other words the guy is talking about integrating sucessfully and peacefully into Western society. So really, where's your "shcoking video"??

It's about both. It is a show case of how naive Aunt is and also how dangerous islam is to the west. I knew aunt would take the bait and post his typical response to these threads. At the end of the day this is why aunt must be immediately dismissed when the issue of islam comes up. Aunt is hopelessly biased and almost always wrong.

Because the clip I saw contained nothing other than the conversation that I quoted directly from and posted above, there were no grand schemes or evil plans laid out.Bit late innit, you already have. Besides which, do what you like... Because as everyone knows, yelling louder and calling someone else more names makes you both right and morally superior.

Between that and the vid I'm starting to wonder of the issue doesn't actually lie more in your ability to comprehend.Do you always get upset with everyone that disagrees with you? Are you upset a lot of the time?

I come from a free and democratic country myself, where differences of opinion are accepted. Actively encouraged even.
