Jesus did not follow the rituals of the Jewish law. He even told the pharisees to cast the 1st stone if they were without sin.

I am an avid reader and have studied Christianity, Islam, Buddhism and other faiths and I am telling you that it the Muslims that condone stoning, torture, beheading and even the murder of their own daughters and sons through honor killings.

Again, I ask you (and I narrow it down) when in the last 50 years did Christians stone, behead or carry out and honor killing.

Or a step further, when did any Christian or Buddhist condone such atrocities in the last 50 years.

Please answer that.

I see Muslims in the photo and every photo and story about stoning, honor killings or a beheading are with Muslims committing the act.

I have yet to click on a story or see a photo with Father O'toole in his white collar throwing a stone at someone or sawing someones head off.

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. – A Clayton County man was behind bars Sunday, accused of killing his own daughter. Police said the father was angry because he felt his daughter was disgracing the family.

Investigators said 54-year-old Chaudhry Rashad was so outraged at his daughter, Sandela Kanwal, and her plans for divorce that he killed her after a heated argument at the family's home. Investigators said Rashad confessed to strangling the 25-year-old woman.



"The family is very upset and stressed," said Shahid Malik of the Pakistani American Community of Atlanta.

Malik met with the family Sunday and said they were all traumatized.

Neighbors said the family was generally quiet, but also hard to miss.

"I would see the young lady outside every once in a while dressed in the traditional Muslim gear," said neighbor Jack Hannah.

"The father, he would pray at certain times of the mornings and evenings," said neighbor Cynthia Smith.

Rashad was taken to the Clayton County jail. Police said they interviewed Rashad and he said he killed his daughter as a matter of honor, because he felt her plans for divorce would have disgraced the family.

"She was under depression too and the father was very stressed and under depression," said Malik.

Police said the victim had been in an arranged marriage and hadn't seen her husband, who lives in Chicago, for months.

Malik said arranged marriages are not uncommon for Pakistanis. He said the marriages are usually accepted and successful, although young people living in American might develop problems with them.

"Their minds are changed when the live here due to this system," said Malik.

Rashad is due to go before a Clayton County magistrate Monday.

As you might know that I am a Muslim. I don't approve of such barbaric ways. I don't even approve of capital punishment. I have had more interactions with Muslims than you and can assure you that most of them do not approve of it.
Christians did so did the Jews. It took them long time to get rid of such absurd laws. Fingers crossed the minority Muslims who practice this will soon give up. "Change" is a process and it needs some time is all I can say.
I can assure you that most Muslims are against it.
Lack of education, IMHO.
Again, lack of education in some parts of Muslim world. You should not generalise.
We all learn from our past mistakes. Christians learned it, I am sure a handful of Muslims who practice this will learn too. Give it some time.

I was just on the island of Sumbawa, Indonesia where the majority of the population are muslim and experienced that they were the nicest and friendliest people I have ever met.

As stated by our resident Imam,, "You have never spent time with them", Well the hell ya beller,, I spent close to 10 years all total, In Iraq, Iran, Saudi and Kewait and traveled thru most countrys bordering the Arab Gulf, plus worked with all races from over in the Muslin Belt, and you could be right,, seems that only the Sand Niggers are the ones that cause the hell and the Paki that stink the worst.

I would have summarized your post a little differently but I agree. The thing to keep in mind, although they are Muslim, their nasty practices originate from tribal traditions and have "conveniently" been incorporated into the local practice of Islam.
