Harry is a victim of the British Establishment, as is his brother. I had high hopes that he might continue his mother's work in shaking the foundations of the royal family because, as some say, he's not one of them. However, I fear that it's not to be. Don't be fooled, very few Brits see him in uniform as a role model. He's now the typical product of a privileged upbringing and that's not popular these days. Shame, a wasted opportunity. He really could be a good role model for young people if he were his own man. | |

| Lets face it, if only for PR purposes, the universal chorus of approbation and contempt for Bush, Cheney and their ilk would be somewhat tempered if we were to see one single one of their Offspring or close family serving in Iraq, rather than milking the cash cow that their Daddy created whilst other young men are sent off to be part of the statistics. There is something to be said for 'Leadership by example' you know. Harry, who as far as I'm concerned is just another bloke, but who happened to be born to Privilege (not unlike Dubya), was only pulled out of Iraq because his presence there was outed by the Press.
