| I read the articles about this today, and found it a bit laughable - and sad. He likely wants to find Osama Bin Laden before leaving office so he can be percieved as making the world safer - and attempt to improve his image and legacy, which won't be very good. How ridiculous.

| Not sure how long he has the Secret Service in position after he is out of office? I am wondering if they will still take a bullet for him or an RPG at his mode of transport. We know one thing for sure that his protection detail are gonna have their hands full. I would not like to be protecting one of the most unpopular men on the planet. Way to many loose cannons out there.

| Protection for life, and I believe the security detail is pretty significant even for ex yank pressies. No worries he'll be enjoying his retirement and making millions doing speech tours/sitting on boards (as every president does), plus working on the GWB Presidential Library. |

| Yeah you are probably right Maverick. But will any of them still take a bullet for an ex President!! Not so sure about that. Hitman only needs one shot and one good opportunity. How many Presidents has America lost due to assassination ? Can,t remember but its a few and not many foreign assassins as far as I am aware. |
