Bali - Jimbaran Beach for dining on fresh seafood
Jimbaran is a fishing village and tourist resort in Bali, Indonesia. Located just south of the International Airport, the beach is cluttered every lunch and evening with fresh seafood restaurants. It has almost become a tourist trap in a way.
All taxis have to pay a entrance 'fee' to the area, and all the restaurants have to pay the taxi driver for bringing some customers, pisses them right off when we get out at one resto and then walk down the beach to another.
Most of the restaurants employ one or more drivers and will give you free pick up and return to your hotel, from main areas of Bali (Kuta, Seminyak, Legian, etc). We caught our own taxi for 50,000 (who was then happy to wait 2 hours for the return trip). And as a consequence, were able to bargain 40% discount on all food items.

you get to select your fresh or live food direct from the front of the restaurant and can watch them kill it and cook it in front of you.... some of the shops fresh fish, wasnt really so fresh, so choose carefully.
