    Local Steak dinner in Jakarta!

felt like steak tonight, didnt feel like going far to get it.

nearby my place there is a small steak and ribs place, indo style. Its called Obonk and they have about 50 chains around Indo, including Bali.

plenty of steaks and ribs and chicken on the menu, most around $3 or $4 each. They also had milkshakes and fruit floats but no beer (this is because the area i live in is supposed to be dry for the muslims!)

anyway, I ordered the T-bone, missus ordered some chicken and ribs.

took about 10 minutes to bring this out, literally! they must have it pre-cooked i think,

tasted pretty alright for $4. hers wasnt too bad either,

and her chicken, of which she ate 3 bites, but thats ok, its going in my sandwiches tomorrow!

thats her orange float (orange juice and icecream) in the background.

In essence a good place for cheap and cheerful food.

That steak is so thin they must have toasted it.

Somewhere there's a buffalo with a shin missing. I'm pretty sure all that red stuff is supposed to be on the fries...
