Jakarta Bintangs 100m Gift, the slowest man in asia, and some ladyboys!

The bastards, somewhere along the line I inherited (quite unfairly too) the nicname of statue... fuck knows why.

Anyways tonight was the last training night for the year, so we had meat pies and beers to finish, but before that happend the boys had lined up the Bintangs 100m gift.

a foot race, between me, a bloke called cocktails, and a bloke in a wheel chair.

    railroaded into it in fact.

so me and cocktails get together and decide fug them we'll run half speed and finish together.

    BUT,

they had organised a couple of ladyboys, dressed up but they were wearing trainers and they had broader shoulders than me!

sos we has 100,000 rupiah stuffed down our pants, and 5 metres headstart on the lady boys.......

^ i'm telling ya man, the bladdy laddy boys had shoulders broader than Marmite!

so me n cocktails said right, we'll run the first 15 metres to where the crowd was, having chosena victim the plan was to snatch the money out of our pants and stuff it down the crotch of other team mates.

which we did, I was aiming for our loudmouthed coach, but he wasnt gonna have any of that, the ladyboy was still hot on my tail so i wasnt gonna stand around and argue, a young fella(about 15, the umpires son, trains with us) was nearby, so i turned for him - but he bolted like a startled gazelle, so i ran aroudn the bladdy TV camera and headed bac into the crowd ladyboy in tow, eventually i dropped the money down the shirt of someone, and that was when she/he finally stopped chasing me!

I didnt have time to look but cocktails experience was similar.

so they made us run again, the ladyboys had their money but were happy to chase after our asses again. This time we ran like the wind, but made sure to finish together at the line.

Unfortunately, noone told the ladyboys they were supposed to stop chasing us after we passed the finish line, and they caught us and got a free grope!

here's a proper update from someone who can write a bit better then meself!

The ANZ Jakarta Bintangs finished off the 2007 season on a high note on Saturday
with a comfortable 93 point win over the Malaysian Warriors at Cibubur. Playing
in occasionally torrential rain, the Bintangs ran away with the game in the
second quarter, eventually running out the victor 21.14 (140) to 7.5 (47).
Playing coach Michael Grace led the way with 6 goals in what was a dominant
performance all over the ground against an undermanned Malaysian team.
Vice-captain Matt Jolly was voted BOG by the visiting team, his second
consecutive mug. Carli Shilito finally earned her first international cap and
demonstrated to the coach that her inclusion in the team was very much overdue.
Congrats to Carls on being the first woman to represent the Bintangs.

Prior to the main game a spirited junior match was played between the ANZ
British International School Bulldogs and the Depok Garudas. The rusty Garudas,
strengthened by the inclusion of a few Bintangs players put up a strong fight,
ultimately going down by 3 goals or so. With support from the Australia
Indonesia Institute and hopefully a Youth Ambassador, local footy should go from
    strength to strength in 2008.

Our final social function for the season is the BJ Morgan Presentation Night on
Friday 30 November. Get on board for Football's Night of Nights to celebrate
what has been a fantastic season in Bintangland.
