    Bali to do list

I've read every Bali travel thread on here now. I'm only going for 4 days, but here's what i'd like to do, I don't think I'll have the time to do it all though

Here's a map of all the places i rather optimistically hope on seeing

    So.........

    Day 1
Firstly I wanna rent a car with GPS, even though I have a complimentary pick up from airport.

Right, I'll have a spare hour before I check into the villa.

So the first stop will be(courtesy of Katie23)

The Bintang Supermarket to stock up.

Then I'm gonna check out the nearest beach, then chill out around the pool for a couple of hours before heading up to Tanah Lot for the sunset.

Then drive down to La Plancha for some Spanish grub, a couple of beers and a chill out

    (courtesy of Terry57)

Then head back to the villa and a bit of skinny dipping and an earlyish night. The next 2 days are gonna be early starts.

Let me finish the 4 days before you guys start adding what else there is to do please.

Hope you have hours of time to sit in traffic jams. In a car from Bintang Market in Seminyak back to Legian could take you an hour or more. about 3 kilometers. That was the one shocking thing was the traffic. The smallest streets and soi's "gangs" you could ever imagine.

^ hmmm Day 2 - Busy day isn't looking good then

Up with the birds to the lake to see sunrise.

    (Courtesy of Aging One)

    lake Batur

    then head down to

    cuddle a honey bear at
Pod Chocolate | A sustainable chocolate maker creating world class chocolate in the heart of Bali.

    or

i could wear a skirt and go here

    Tampaksiring
Tampak Siring - Holy Spring Water Temple | Bali Places of Interest

Im favouring the bears and chocolate right now.

These 2 places are parallel on that map in the op, below the lake.

Then I have options on probably one of these to visit

    Ubon Market
    Ubon Temple
Maha restaurant, in the monkey forest.

I'm favouring Maha, but hopefully i'll be able to get around all 3

    Maha restaurant

Maha Bar/Restaurant, Ubud - Restaurant Reviews, Phone Number & Photos - TripAdvisor

    Then head down to

Waterbom, Ubud, Not for too long because I wanna.....

    jump off
    Tegenungan waterfall

    831'59.9"S 11517'27.3"E

Then head to Hard Rock Bali for a couple of sundowners.

There's a shitload to do in Ubud.

    Heres a list

    https://indonesia.tripcanvas.co/bali/things-to-do-ubud/

I would have liked the white river rafting but i'm taking my daughter

I think WaterBom is in Kuta.

You could spend a day, or at least half a day there. Western prices.

    4 days?

    Day 1.
How about first afternoon in Nusa Dua. They have cliff top bars popular with the surfers that provide a great sunset view. Similar to that highly photoshopped pic. If you arrive early enough you could do WaterBom park and then Nusa Dua for sunset, food ok here, but you could then head down to Jimbaran beach for sea food BBQ dinner on the beach.

    Day 2.
Ubud. Travel to Ubud. Walk around the city centre and explore the art shops and monkey forest. Maybe time to fit in a half day river water water. (how old is your daughter?)

    Naughty Nuri's for pork dinner.

    Day 3.
Mount Batur Volcano trekking for sunrise. Bali Eco Cycling | Mt. Batur Volcano Sunrise Trek

Day 4. Morning Shopping in Legian or Seminiyak. lunch at Potato Head club or Ku Da Ta before heading home.

Go see dream beach, that's the star, second furthest from the right on the map in Nusa Lembongan

then head to Nusa Penida (furthest star on the right) temple for this sunset

    Then head home

Do you see my problem, there's not enough time.

Maybe I'll just play the xbox in the villa all weekend. Maybe they'll have battlefield 4

I think I'll knock Ubud on the head and go back and do all that another time.

I think I'll omit the waterpark, i can do that anywhere. My wife would love that restaurant where you catch your own fish, that you showed in a thread,

    Akame Resto

Although I could do that in Bangkok too

    Jeepers, surely you're trolling then.

Sit in the villa, duck out for a few shops/markets.

Job done. Kids wanna play, swim and relax, not sit in a car all day.

Dil, I've got a mate who lives over that way, could you do us a favour and take a package across for him; it's only small, will fit in your hand luggage, no problem. I'll make it worth your while...

    No worries about the package.

I'll take one as well - just to help out.

I see loads of people sat in 5 star hotels who just stay there for the duration of their jolly.
What's the point of flying to Bali? I may as well rent a villa in Samui?

You fukkers have put me right off the place with all the traffic now. They probably don't even sell breezers over there

    Only took me 12 minutes...

Bali, chill out, don't overplan or overdo it, just go with the flow and enjoy the moment. Bound to be some young Aussie girls you can sink your nuts into!

How do I post these pictures???
