I want to reply using parts of one post and then parts of another post. How do I do that?

You can click on the third icon along the bottom of the post which will add the post to your reply. Selecting more than one post puts each post in your reply along with the proper opening and closing quote tags. If you do this then the icon turns red for each post you have chosen.

Easiest, as I only recently found out, is to highlight the text you want and click "q-quote", then do the same with the next post, as I have done just now.
How bizarre, I never noticed that before. I usually just highlight the selection with the mouse and then CRTL-C then CRTL-V and add the quote tags myself.
Thank you gentlemen.

You should have clicked the "Go Advanced" button , then you get the option of "Preview post".
