Ignoring Multiple Sub-Forums

How do I?

I would like to ignore pointless waffle (US Issues) and Jokes and Funny stories but can only ignore the whole forum, one or the other.

hold the control key (or is it shift) when selecting forums to ignore.

I tried that already but it just selects everything between the two points that get clicked.

try again,

I think you'll find shift select everything

and control single forums only.

All done. Shift selects all between points and  does the single selections.
