I have it set-up so that I recieve a text message on my mobile phone if someone replies to a thread that I created or directly after a post I have made. The text message includes a link to the new reply that I can then read on my phone. I also have a filter installed via a piece of software that a friend created for me, it sends a text to my phone when someone publishes a post that includes the the terms 'English Noodles' 'Noodles' 'Poodles' ''Poodle' 'Noodle' or 'EN'.

ok, I've been prodded to write something!

in a recent article here, about the cemetery in Chiang Mai, mention was made of a book by W A R Wood called "Consul in Paradise - Sixty-nine years in Paradise".

It sounded interesting, so hunted around Amazon UK and got it for a couple of quid. Posted UK to Oz in a matter of days, and it's quite an interesting read, as I'm moving to Chiang Mai soon, but not planning on staying for 69 years!

Thanks to whoever wrote the cemetery article.
