I have heard that the Thai FDA is skiddish about probiotics. Do any of you know of any stores that carry a refrigerated probiotic such as Healthy Trinity click here
Back in Chicago I used this product regualry and was never sick.

There is this place near Muang Thong Thani that sells them. It is a health food store near the cinema and Big C/ and Tesco Lotus there. I can't remember the name of the place, but you can't miss it if you walk from Tesco to Big C. They had some in the fridge and out. You might also try stores where Arabs live. I remember seeing goat's milk kafir there which can be rich in probiotics.
I've been drinking a lot of Kombucha tea recently. Not sure if that's got the same stuff you're looking for, Chi, but if you're still in the States you can easily order some starter kits to bring back to Thailand and make it yourself. I've never actually brewed my own. I just buy the bottled stuff at a local health store. They also sell them at Whole Foods.
Thanks for all the info!!! :chitown:
try one of the larger pharmacies for a capsule called INFLORAN, its acidophilus lacto something.
MIMS Thailand - Drug information of Infloran cap from Laboratorio Farmaceutico S.I.T.
it should be kept at under 5 degrees C, so take an ice pack with, a good shop will give you an ice pack when you buy.
Lemon Farm? I love them.Quote:

Was back at Villa Thonglor today and did not see the probiotic fridge where I saw it before- next to the wildly overpriced organic veggies. Not sure that that means, but thought I'd better mention it rather than risk giving chitown or anybody else a bum steer.
