| Special Member | I have been on a self imposed diet since coming back from Thailand, i'm 6' and did tip the scales at 110k when i came back My scales are fecked now too so i don't know what i am now. I used to go to the gym 4 or 5 times a week but injury and work stopped me, i tried going back but now feel the same as Marmite, the thought of going to the gym fills me with dread and boredom but i do actually enjoy it when i get there!

| Great idea. Better weigh myself to get started! Actually I just got over the sore throat/cold/flu thing that's been going around, and got a good start from not having an appetite for a week. Forget Jenny Craig! If I ran my own weight-loss franchise, I'd just inject clients with the flu Also, using a bicycle for your morning commute, rain or shine, gives you that daily 30 min of cardio/aerobic without the expense of a fitness club or the costs of running, servicing or parking an automobile, and it looks like gasoline will hit $1.50 CAN by summer...

| I'd help you Marmers, but I don't think I could drag you outta the house. Sorry, guys. Even if you lose weight, you need to exercise or else your skin sags, worse than being a bit hefty, IMO. I was always partial to the thigh master machine and small weights at the gym, but I much prefer swimming in the ocean. I refuse to get in a chlorinated pool here, and everyone always seems to get athlete's foot or some other manky skin disease. |

| Gym memberships are negotiable. Try and bargain for a lower price if you can. When my gym put the price up my girlfriend went round and gave them a rocket. Result: I was paying half of what some others that just joined up were paying. |

| Sorry, Chi. Although I could do with losing about 5kg, I hate dieting & hate gyms. Lugging dogs around is exercise, isn't it? Hoping that stopping the booze will get me to drop some weight (it did last time.) That's about all I'm prepared to do towards the goal. Good luck, though, guys.

| I'm back training properly for the first time since I slipped a disk. Went back and did some light training to rebuild my back muscles and strengthen my stomach muscle. Fucking sore this week though. I've had to include legs in my workout again since I stopped that for aching knees. Current Regime is as follows Monday Warm up 30 mins level 6 - 9 elipitcal trainer Barbell Benchpress Barbell Incline Bench Press Barbell Decline Bench Press Overhead dumb bell pull Dumbell flyes Cable Crossovers 8-10 reps each x 4 sets 30 minutes running upto 10km/h + 5 minutes warm up + 5 minutes warm down Tuesday Barbell Curls Dumbell hammer curls Bent Bar curls Alt. Dumbell Curls Preacher Curls Concentration Curls X 8 Reps x 4 sets Same warm up and running as Monday Wednesday Squat - 8-10 x 4 Leg Press Roman Deadlifts Leg Extensions Leg Curl Calf raises Warm up = 15 minutes level 1 eliptical trainer Finish Fast walking - 7km hour 20minutes +5 up +5 down Thursday Straightbar pressdowns Skull crushers Overhead dumbell extensions Rope Press down - hate this one revers Grip Pressdown Dips 100 situps with 5kg weight 80 side stretch thingies with wieght for side stomach muscles x8 x4 Warm up and running as monday and tuesday Friday Military Press Dumbell Front raises Lat Pulldowns Single Arm Rows cable Rows Shoulder Shrugs (superset) Neck - evil machine but works x 8 x4 Warm up and running as rest of the week I changed my routine this week. added a few new ones and took a couple out that i didn't think worked so well. I will try this one for a few weeks. Bodybuilding.com - The Future Of Bodybuilding! Huge Bodybuilding Site. is a great resource for routines and how to do exercises. I am currently 95kgs. Which is gain of 12kgs in the last three years. I went up nearly ten since coming to Korea. 2.5kgs going back to see the folks and eating crap for three weeks Ideally I want to be back at 90kgs.
