Pinched Nerve in me right Hoof.

Was laying back thinking of England on me sofa on Saturday evening, all fine n dandy. About 2 hours later when I got up, had a big pain at the front of my right heel, inside my right foot rather than at the skin, and had to limp around like an invalid.

Had been doing regular fast walking the previous weekdays, nothing too strenuous, about 6km average each day Monday-Friday.

Still ain't gone away, feels like a pinched nerve in my heel. Take an ibuprofen in the morning which helps the pain, but still no bladdy sign of it healing. So all I can do is lay on the sofa and hobble around.

    Anyone had similar? Healing time?

    Amputation?

Well assuming it is a nerve issue they grow/repair at the rate of about 1 mm/day.

    So enjoy!

Check your Uric acid levels. Might be a gout-type inflammation.

Classic symptoms of plantar fasciitis. At least that's Dr Google's diagnosis.

Talk of most people healing within 7-10 months.

    Months!

10 months on the sofa.... Fookin' 'ell, I'll be Dillinger-esque in size by then.

    Months!
Pffft... take x2 iron pills, harden the fuck up, and don't call me whining in the morning, princess!

I've been operating on basically one good arm for over a year now. Healing is for losers.

The key is to focus and pretend you're not in agony and causing irreparable further damage*

Well Luigi, you need to maintain your cardiovascular fitness. Just change over to arm exercises....starting with push-ups. C'mon lad....down and snap off 25 right now. Proper ones, too.

Nerve damage sucks. Dentist 'bruised' a nerve in my mouth. Took almost four months to totally heal. Good luck!

While on the sofa rotate your foot in a circle say 50 clockwise and 50 in the opposite direction. As often as you feel happy with.
    Do some stretching.
Throw your running/walking shoes away and buy some different ones.

Me to. Physio therapy, exercises and electric stimulation therapy or something (foot in a bath of water and voltage applied).
Told to throw shoes away and get some different ones. Hence my suggestion.
Found it called Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation or TENS

Try the pool, float on your back and don't stress but gently wiggle the offending foot, good therapy.

Your foot is not important, just cut it off. You can still cook can't you?
