About 90% over it after 3 weeks and the only cure is heaps of rest and gallons of water.

Probably the worse flu I have experienced.

Nasty one this year. Just over it myself. Treat the symptom with Tiffy and tough it out for several days.

I thought I was over it one week ago, had a few beers with Sabang, who has also had it, and it returned but more mild.

People are claiming it takes at least 1 month to clear 100%.

Hot water and freshly squeezed lemon juice, drink as much as you can, seems to flush it out. Fresh air helps me when I am crook, as does natural sunlight. A nap outside can really help.

-Real ginger cut in pieces and lemon slices in hot water.
-lots of rest and breathe in steam (from a humidifier or steam bath)
-drink gallons of water and natural fruit juice (like freshly squeezed orange juice)

This year the flu is very bad and many people in the U.S are dying from it.

Aussie flu symptoms to look out for - and how to avoid the deadly H3N2 bug

Brits have been warned the deadly strain could spark the worst flu outbreak in the country in 50 years, with thousands of cases possible

Potentially deadly 'Aussie flu' - also known as H3N2 - has arrived in the UK after claiming hundreds of lives in Australia.
Aussie flu affected up to 170,000 people in Australia - more than two-and-a-half times last year's total - with over 300 reported to have died.
In late December, Ireland saw its first deaths - though 'no more than 10' - while the potentially killer strain has now been confirmed in parts of the UK too.

5 deaths been reported here but Public Health England's latest flu report, released on January 4th, reveals 17 people are in intensive care or a high dependency unit with H3N2.
