Whitening Teeth Naturally

Here to ask members if anyone does the 'naturally teeth whitening' things (such as in the brief YT vid below). Mix baking soda with lime juice, wait, stir, and then put your fingers (or a cloth) and apply it / rub it on your teeth.

Has anyone done this?

I have not had my teeth cleaned by a dentist in probably 10 years. US dentists always try to do an unecessary X-ray which brings in a high profit margin. Every time I have to say, "no, no, no."

I brush in the AM after finishing coffee and before bed. Sometimes in the afternoon for 3 brushes a day, but some say brushing three times per day is too much (tooth enamel issues)?

So, does anyone here do any naturally teeth whitening occasionally?

Any opinion on this natural teeth whitening procedure?

You’d get better results from mixing baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to brush on your teeth.

Or better, get one of those silicon dental trays and put it in after you apply this mixture. Leave it in an hour or so. Amazing how white you can get your teeth in just two or three times.

Using baking soda, it can cause the gums to develop ulcers.

We use Turmeric, clean your teeth normally with turmeric and leave on for around 3 minutes, watch the difference in a few days.

So, you just put Tumeric and nothing else on your fingers and rub / put it on your teeth?

Here is one method using Turmeric, baking soda and coconut oil. (I think this might be to 'complicated').

Just use a toothbrush and clean as normal.

Nowadays I try and use all natural remedies, a hell of a lot cheaper and healthier.

Slightly off topic My son had Acne we tried Benzyne and bought antibiotics spend a fortune, and then decided to use alternatives tried a few not much difference and then started using raw Garlic, hey presto two weeks later completely cleared

Natural is the only way to go now.

Hydrogen peroxide needs to be used very carefully too.....it erodes or burns the gums.

There are Youtube vids about using a mixture of lemon or lime juice, plus baking soda....but I haven't tried it yet.

Here's a demonstration of:

2 tablespoons of coconut oil
3 tablespoons of baking soda

Mixed in a paste, brush for 3-4 minutes, then rinse.

Do only once every 2 months.
