A 5-mile run in under 40 minutes for me today. My cadence was 165 strides per minute. I counted them myself. That gives me an average stride length of about 1.21 metres at that pace.

Kudos...I'm now running half of my treks around the park, ankle feeling stronger everyday too.

Your stride will lengthen while running.
Someone who gets dwarves allowance and is taking 2 hours to walk 9km with a stride of 1.4m must surely be playing a different game

New Mon-Thu routine for the next 2 weeks.

    7.2km loop.

First time jogging for almost a full workout.

7km in under 60 minutes. Happy with that. Will see what time I can do on Thursday week.

Cue me little pet pocket hippo below.

All you walkers / runners out there prepare to bow to your god...

Was out cleaning my car yesterday and my neighbor stopped by for a quick chat before he set off on a training run.

His 'training run' was 50 km and he's in training for a 100 km ultra-marathon.
