Correct grasshopper, when a visit to a thai hospital is necessary then the inclusion of a bit of eye candy is mandatory, just heard back from bumrungrad and they can recommend a surgeon in bangkok hospital udon thani, rang them this morning and spoke to what sounded like a filipino girl who assured me they do BCC removals all the time so its of to udon tomorrow will report back on the eye candy and procedure,Originally Posted by grasshopper
Thanks for all the advice all
Have no fear BLD - what you are having done is bog standard - 99% of these removals are purely precautionary - good luck.
You should still be able to fulfill all of your modeling contracts as long as they go careful on the hooter.
oh yes,i could see my modeling contracts going down the drain, the subsequent loss of income would be devastating.Originally Posted by Iceman123

I have sent you a pm with the doctors name (graduated Johns Hopkins University, USA) and hospital.
This recommendation comes from the girlfriends girlfriend who works in the same hospital.
I have never used him or been to the hospital.
Good luck with whoever you decide to use or where you go for treatment.
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
Crikey ! You could at least give me a few words of insult !
Update for anyone needing skin cancers removed.
went to the bangkok hospital udon thani yesterday and had that thing cut out, job done.( 6600 baht)
i must say i was pretty impressed with the service, the surgeon was quite a young bloke but seemed to know his shit, the offending material that was cut out was then sent to the lab to make sure they got it all, they will email me the results . Also plenty of eye candy, thai girls in nurse uniforms give me a johnson. Mrs BLD came along to make sure i didnt get distracted while in udon and as i was feeling a bit romantic i bought her a new lawn mower, quite a good little excursion actually, was back in vientiane downing a cold beerlao by 3.00. The BIB done alright as well taking 200 baht of me on the way there and another 200 on the way back
^Hope you got it sorted, mate. You could have taken a few pics of the Benny Hill nurses whilst you were there.?
Recently I realized that a spot I have on my chest
fulfills the ABC of melanomas : asymmetry, irregular border, and variegated colour.
I thought it looks rather like melanoma photos such as this :
but not as dark. But my doctor says nah....it looks ok.
I had a malignant melanoma 18months ago, diagnosed elsewhere, confirmed and removed at bumrungrad. The doctor i saw at bumgrabbers was called doctor chitralada vibaghool
Since then I see dr. Chitrlada every three months to have a full body skin and mole check, she has removed a few actinic keratoses and potential basal cells with cryo.
She seems knowledgeable and thorough.
Bumrungrads dermatology dept is not cheap, they tend to cater to those wanting cosmetic surgery and are happy to pay, but skin cancer is not to be taken lightly, especially basal cells and misbehaving moles.
There is also another woman skin doctor at Bangkok Hospital who seemed quite on top of her game. If you want her name PM and I'll try to find it. As above, BKK Hospital also caters primarily to skin vanity.. so it's also pricey. It's located on the fourth floor of the 'restaurant' building.
My mind is not for rent to any God or Government, There's no hope for your discontent - the changes are permanent!
