Some (very few) have a mild reaction to it, otherwise harmless.

All natural, low GI and is good for you. This can't be correct?

it's currently very popular with endurance athletes.

A lot of what? There are no salts added to beer, other than a pinch of two for some specific ales. And that is per a 5 gallon carboy. Beer is steeped barley with hops thrown in for flavor and yeast for fermentation. There is some protein and B vits though as a result of the fermentation process.

Not sure what you are talking about, Necron?

Have you ever watched the TV show, Dual Survivor? They are all about getting those coconuts whenever on a tropical island. Very high in potassium, as KCL. And the sugars are good for you as well. Says, Cody. A survival expert.

Two blokes I met through Koojo are setting up a plant to export coconut water back to Australia and New Zealand.

They say the merits of drinking coconut water is without doubt medically sound and a pinch of salt mixed in helps me get through an afternoon of golf or in the garden.

^ I think this is a poorly thought out fad.
Besides being high in sugar, coconut water is both a diuretic and a laxative.
As an athlete, it would reduce your fluid levels.

Naam pla isn't salt, so you figure it out...

Use sea salt if you have to.

Avoid anything foods that an average American would probably eat.

Drink lots of water. Eat lots of veggies and fruit.
