    Trigeminal Neuralgia

Hey everyone.I'm just wondering if anyone here living in Thailand has ever suffered from Trigeminal Neuralgia? It's a an extremely painful neuropathic disorder. Unfortunately I suffer from it. I started getting my first attacks about 10 years ago. It was misdiagnosed as wisdom teeth coming through which were removed-A horrible experience in itself.

My attacks, which I get in a centralized area on my right cheek bone would come and go once a month or so. Since then it's progressed to daily attacks and for longer periods of time which are excruciatingly painful. If anyone out there who's had this problem before could refer me to a good specialist in Bangkok who could help me I'd really appreciate it.

    Thanks for reading

the neurology department at a good bangkok hospital should be able to offer you treatment for this.

i would recommend bumrungrad hospital or bangkok hospital, their websites will give you the names, qualifications and specialties of the neurologists.

they are not cheap hospitals, but they are cheaper than similar hospitals in europe or the usa..
