You can get anything you require here (at a price)
In Australia you can get genuine Thai ingrediants, many grown locally, but in the main the Thai food is crap. the reason being, that is what the punters prefer, a new Thai rest opened near my place, we tried it and the same thing, food was shocking shite, they are all Thai cooks.
Authentic Thai food takes more preparation time than westernised Thai food and the Cooks think the customers prefer this watered down Chinese / imitation Thai crap.
Maybe they are right, but they few authentic Asian restaurants I have been to here, mainly in Sydney, seem to have plenty of custom.
There can’t be good living where there is not good drinking

Why would Thai's in Australia have any more business sense that the Thai's in Thailand?

Thanks for the link 12Call ... do you know if these guys are open on the weekend and where they are (Sukhmvit 71?). Wouldn't mind dropping in to buy a load of sausages.
