Thread: Jomtien - Mermaids Bar and Restaurant

This is quite a new place about 100 meters from the Hanuman Statue on the way to the beach, between 4pm and 6pm is happy hour, 55baht any drink.

Now as for it being a restaurant I do have my suspicions, first off they had far too many waitresses, also the waitress that sat next to me kept brushing stuff off of the front of my shorts, not sure what she was seeing but I couldn't see anything.

This place is nicely down out though and has a plasma tv which for some reason they were playing Bee Gees dvds on.

They have aircon there but didn't have it turned on so it was a bit warm, still it's a pretty good place for a quick beer or game of pool before you nip over the road to Las Vegas Bar
