    Midday snack.

Its a few days until i fly back too Bangkok so for the next few days will be enjoying some nice midday snacks.
So today while somtamslap is chewing on a chicken foot i decided on Focaccia, pickled onions and a nice piece of English cheddar cheese.
Have left a picture of the cheese out so Mr slap can have a few wet dreams.

Think i will have roast lamb tomorrow.
Fascists dress in black and go around telling people what to do, whereas priests... more drink!

Enjoy it while you can Mr. Toey. Vat upon vat of plain white rice and buffalo knackers await your return..

Anyway, I've just cooked myself dinner so I'm full enough not drool too much. A onion, garlic and mushroom omelette with an onion, mushroom and garlic side-salad. Most creative, I thought..

Good for you the wife has already asked what i want for breakfast on arrival.
Think she has Jok with entrails lined up for my first treat.
Now should i do the lamb rubbed with sea salt and spiked with rosemary.
To many decisions but at least its up to me.

What is that ? and where's the cheese ?

This has the makings of a great thread.

My mate's going back next week for a couple of weeks, he asked what I would like bringing back, all I could think of were pickled onion Monster Munch

Smug brought me some back last time, they never made it the taxi journey home

I will add to this thread Xmas

^The bread is Focaccia with green and black olives, left the cheese picture out was worried Mr Slap might lose it and try some form of self harm.
Seems he cooked an omelette, not sure if he used chicken eggs or not,he never mentioned it.

I just hand a huge bowl of Ma Diggler's home made Scotch Broth with 4 large slices of wholemeal loaf spread with, for some fucking reason, goat's butter.

To be fair, she never told me til I'd ate it and I never suspected any foul play.

Just topped it off with a one-eyed Egyptian, roast chicken and the works tonight. Being spoilt rotten here!

If it's a basic cheddar I can handle it, but if you start putting the likes of a ripe Stilton up which crumbles effortlessly from the block then I shall have to request you pay the councelling fees.

Noted,it was some nice cheddar from the local cider and cheese farm near by.

Middle farm | about middle farm

They have free cider and cheese tasting, recommend not driving i always end up leaving shit faced.
Nothing like a night spent drinking, eating and sleeping in their cider shed.

Look at all that cider Mr Slap,i can tell you want to try some.

Not a big fan of pickled onions. We have some home-made ones here which the Midget uses in the Thai Seafood Salad.

I must say that I do enjoy Ciabatta, crumbly Lancashire cheese and some pickled beetroot. The bread fresh from the oven... mmmmm.....

Farm shops are the main reason the Midget wants to go to the UK. We're blessed in Udon for decent fresh stuff now, but it's nowt compared with somewhere like that.

I have an unlimited supply of that too.

Actually the Midget is baking at the moment and the smell of freshly baked bread is making me salivate. There's a bread roll with my name on it...
