A friend gave me some round ones, I've not had them for years so I brewed one up with my brekkie this morning.Originally Posted by The Fresh Prince

Turned out a nice color and tasted pretty good.
I've been on Heladiv for so long now that I really couldn't say that these are that much better. They're both just 'ok'.
Neither of them are anywhere near as good as a Yorkshire tea or a NamBarrie.
Amazed you can't get PG Tips. The pyramid shape bags are excellent. Unilever are slipping up if they don't realize their is a market for them in Thailand.
^I would rather drink Aldi's own brand than PG Tips. And that's after the store has been looted.
PG Tips are nasty
THIEF!
Can see you have pinched a Thai Air teaspoon.
It's people like you that raise the cost of air travel due to airlines spending billions of dollars replacing all the stuff that has gone walkies.
Couldn't you just take one from work BTW?
Black diamonds? I shit 'em.

I'll take an educated guess and say that it's probably from when I lived in Don Muang and all my neighbors were air stewardess's. They were always bringing me boxes of sausage rolls and cakes from the airline so maybe there was a stow away spoon involved.
That would just be stealing from myself.Originally Posted by Bogon
I cannot stand that crap Liptons tea..... luckily I've been supplied plenty of Tetleys tea bags by visiting friends and customers over the last 14 years so that I've always had a stock, not only for myself but for customers too (when I had the Old Speckled Hen and the Ace Cafe).
If you do buy Liptons here's a tip..... if the box says "Hirameki" it'll be ok..... that's the one made in Indonesia with stronger tea and a stronger paper bag. The Sri Lankan one is absolute shite with a very fine bag that does not stand up to a good British tea lovers stirring, and the tea itself always looks like the sweepings from the factory floor as opposed to leaves! (Maybe they flog the leaves to Indonesia!)
I knows this cos I works on rigs wot uses Liptons and I'm the gaffer wot orders it!
