| The Dog | Fine Italian Dining with the dog Well this evenings lucky restaurant was at Jomtien complex, it's called Italia pizza I believe, Now I have to admit that Jomtien complex is like a 50 50 split between pooves bars and normal bars for guys that are normal and want to shag birds, but they do have some good restaurants there as long as you can ignore 60 year old men walking down the road hand in hand with their new found Thai boyfriend of the night, yep even after all the years I have been here it still makes me cringe to see them. The place is quite a mish mash of colors and furniture, in fact it's such a mish mash that it doesnt look to bad in a sort of mish mash way. Pattaya Restaurant Guide ![]() But onto the food as we can't eat the furniture, well after I have told you about the service that is, as we entered we were waied by loads of staff which was quite nice, but I might add that we went in the car and not my antique truck so I don't really count that as a proper wai, it was a wai influenced by the illusion of wealth I believe, the service staff consisted of 3 ladymen wannabes who minced as they walked, a nice young lady with what looked like nice firm pert breasts and a normal Thai guy, obviously the ladymen wannabes were quite attentive, anyway one of the wannabes led us to a nice table and handed us the menus, we ordered drinks and he actually went and got them,A pet hate of mine is when you order the drinks and they just stand there waiting for you to order the food at the same time. The drinks came and there was a nice chilled glass for my beer, but alas no condom for the beer which meant I had to drink it quick before it got warm, the second beer I didn't get a new glass, yes I know I am being petty but I feel sure that they could have given me a new glass with my new beer, I believe in the UK it's illegal not to do that. The food: We ordered the old garlic bread, a ham pizza as me galfriend wont eat beef and a nice spaghetti, this actually all came at the same time and was piping hot, a few minor criticisms, the garlic was fresh grated garlic put on toasted bread, damn that was a bit spicey, the grated cheese for the old spaghetti had no flavour at all, but apart from that at only 540baht for the whole lot with ice cream aswell I can't really complain. ![]() Well apart from their awfull tacky place mats. | The Dog | hmmm, in using the term "old" I don't actually mean the bread was old. As for garlic being spicey, you try eating a raw clove of garlic Ah yes, the elusive pic of the spaghetti,I didnt think to take a picture of the spaghetti as it was only last week when I had posted a picture of a bowl of spaghetti, but I must say that it looked very similar to last weeks pic... |
