    McDonalds in Thailand

As past of the underworld of investigative reporting from TeakDoor, here is a look at what happens behind the counter at a McDonalds here in Thailand.

We, well most of us have been to McDonalds. But hillbilly decided to go behind the counter and see what was happening in the fast food chain of McDonalds here in Thailand.

Do the workers get to eat all the hamburgers they want for free?
No, plus I don't think they really want to...

I ain't never been in McDonalds or KFC in Thailand, but I assume they are full of kids like this....

As far as I can see from the kids growing up in Bangkok today, the American (and other) fast food chains are doing a pretty good job of addicting spoilt Thai kids to all kinds of unhealthy foods.

Behind the counters. Notice the 'falang' looking for his fix.

Where do these fries come from.? New Zealand is the correct answer.

Fast food joints doesn't make kids fat, bad parenting does. Be kinda like my fat Auntie Rose blaming the cutlery for her obesity.

^I agree, but I'd still say it was more a 50/50 thing.....it needs the bad parenting first, but the fatty unhealthy foods help it along

I mean there's plenty of bad parents up in Isaan, but I don't see many fat kids there (yet)

It may be that the "fat is good" attitude is still alive and well in Thailand....for boys at least

I miss double quarter pounders so much, that is the best burger mcds makes, but the double cheeseburger isnt so bad. I must say that I cant see much difference between mcds here and in california, except that they do sem just a bit nicer here.

Probably because here there is a lower probability that some college dropout has wanked off in the 'special sauce'
