I've just completed some more extensive shortbread testing (at least 5 quality varieties of shortbread fingers at Central Chitlom) and here are my results:
first prize: Waitrose shortbread fingers (99 baht)
second price: Walkers handmade shortbread fingers (165 baht)
third prize Marks & Spencers shortbread fingers (115 baht).
Just received a box of 240 Yorkshire teabags, going very nicely with the biscuits...
carry on...

Not sure, but both taste good - and similar.
is this an old sheials afternoon tea party you fat bastards put down the biscuits
^ that's a good idea; tea and biscuits, well it is nearly one, so it must be time...
that didn't take long; a nice cup of Yorkshire and a selection of 3 biscuit types: Waitrose shortbread fingers, Dusit Gourmet jammy dodgers and Dusit Gourmet choc chip shortbread... I am getting fatter, that's a certainty.
Marks and Spencers had Walnut Whips and Bourbon biscuits last month.
I think they are all gone now though.
^ at Central Chitlom?
^ what about crackers?, them haitai ones are pretty good
Betty Boo, Is there a Waitrose in Central ?
just partook in the dunking of 2 custard cream biscuits adorned with the traditional swirly pattern top-
a structure which no doubt adds to the integral strength , thus allowing a physics defying extra long dunk , and allowing an insane absorption coefficient .
both ,dunked , successfully
and no embarrassing sludge in the cup.
a fig roll would be nice too
and i forgot to eat a gingerbread man this winter
not too keen on them
but traditions are traditions
^ very nice.
Tops/Central carry Waitrose products; Central Chitlom has loads of Waitrose stuff where as Tops in Central Rama 2 has only a few bits n pieces; Silom Central has a good M&S section - picked up some shorts today; 3 for 1990 baht; nice quality...Originally Posted by sabaii sabaii

Even worse,. pissed up ugly ginger cu nts wearing skirts.
Whilst I admit that a custard cream does sound like a gay biscuit, it is actually very nice.
Now, it's nice to see that a nice English company (I think???);Waitrose, do a better shortbread biscuit than the Scottish companies...
Stolen from: Belmsford > Gay Biscuits
the "Mikado" has to be the gayest biscuit I ever did see.
What you've got there is two lines of tiny balls of white marshmallow with pink dessicated coconut on them with a line of jam down the middle, also with pink dessicated coconut on. And that, my friends, is a gay biscuit.
The Midget outdid them on her first attempt, so it can't be that hard.Originally Posted by Bettyboo

Can you get malted milks here ?
Yes. I saw them and quite a few others at Central Chitlom; really a biscuit lovers wet dream it is... loads and loads of the good stuff, split in 3 or 4 different sections, so you'll need to have a good walk around...
I'm just having a cup of tea with some Butterfingers shortbread with macadamia nuts that I bought from from Tops at 115 baht - an Aussie shortbread biscuit, whatever next... Quite nice though; gets into my top three along with the Waitrose shortbread fingers (haven't seen any on sale for 6 months) and the classic, easy to obtain but still excellent Walkers shortbread fingers.

Good old welsh cakes
^ They look bloody nice they do...
What's all that about, I've never seen them before; look like they'd go perfectly with a cup of PG Tips!
