Looking for a place to buy Indian spices in Bangkok

The wife is getting on an Indian cooking kick, but can't find a lot of the ingredients called for in the recipes. Does anyone know of an Indian food store or a place in Bangkok where you can buy Indian spices and other stuff required for cooking Indian food? Many thanks.

Looks like they have it all. Good one. Makro has a great selection of herbs and spices here in Roiet. Probably even better in Bangers.

You can buy the more usual ones like cumin, coriander and turmeric at more or less any supermarket. Price varies hugely from brand to brand but I've noticed you get what you pay for - the cheap ones are very low on flavour.

Mrs. Balbir's Indian takeaway, in the basement of Robinson's on Sukhumvit, has some of the more unusual ones. I bought whole cardamoms, curry leaves and one thing I couldn't even find in Pahurat - black mustard seeds - there.

There's a fairly large Indian market off Silom near Wat Kak (wat sri mahamariamman)

Been meaning to check it out.
    Some good Indian restaurants nearby.

Agree with that. Went to buy some Nutmeg the other day in Carefour and they wanted 156bt for the little pot. I got it in Foodland for only 24bt which surprised me as they're normally more expensive.
