Thai Hotdogs

It is a well known fact that I am probably the foremost expert on hotdogs, I have eaten every offering 7/11 have brought out and of course I am English.

The Hotdog was first made by agent Green a CIA guy during the first world war, this was of course based on the traditional English saveloy, the saveloy is a savoury English sausage made of farm animals, the hotdog was of course made out of dogs, but during the war with millions of Americans starving and average weights going down to 150kilos the CIA knew they had to feed them, with their drug contacts in Vietnam they were able to set up supply lines of dog meat to feed the American population and keep them alive, at least I think it was something like this.

Obviously in modern day America they use farm animal penises and scalps to make their delicious hotdogs, and never forget the testicles for those special oyster hotdogs.

So lets get back to Thailand and the hotdogs we have here, sadly for the older mericans I don't think they use any dog meat anymore, but the meat scraped from a pigs head aint too bad you know, anyway on this thread we will explore various Thai hotdogs and see which is best.

So here is a pack of "Ma" hotdogs, isn't "Ma" dog in Thai? I shall try them tomorrow.

Its only a personal thing for me but whatever I eat has to be in its original form / shape ,,,,,,, sometimes in Thai means going veggie or waiting a while ,, but no matter how hungry I was I could never eat those round ball things in the various display cabinets along the pathways , God alone knows whats in them ,mabe what they couldnt fit into the hot dogs

We have lots of different mustards in the good ofld US of A as opposed to the UK where you are forced by the government, under penalty of incarceration, to eat only one style.

They've got a new line in heart attack fodder now in 7/11..hotdogs wrapped in bacon (Pigs in blankets, to those in the know),,very pleasant little appetizers before you munch into your cheese ham and egg toastie..

In the states, pigs in blanket usually refers to pork sausage wrapped with a pancake. It does sound tasty though, hotdogs wrapped in bacon, they should make bacon it's own food group imho.
