Appreciate some feedback on Toxic - very end of Sukhumvit Soi 18. Seems a bit out of the way. Think its located in the Town Lodge.

Who told you it was a nightclub? It's a small bar right next to the reception desk at the Town Lodge. I've never seen it busy, a couple of guests maybe but you'll still have a good laugh with the girls. The owner is a Swiss guy named Ralph, and his mood is temperamental to how wasted he is. Their courtesy tuk-tuk driver to take you all the way back to Sukhumvit road without getting mugged (Soi 18 is long, dark and lifeless) knocks off around 8 or 10pm so you might wanna go early or go late and stay the night.

TOXIC is definitely not a busy night club anymore.
but its a cool bar with 5 cute girls. the music is not to loud so you can have a good conversation. the bar has darts and a small pool table.

it is located at the very end of soi 18, at the ground floor of the Town Lodge Hotel (see top of page).

the owner has been called grumpy, temperamental, sweet, english, inept and wasted. he must probably be all of the above.

Been in Bkk 7 years now. Never been deep into soi 18 before. Guess I could use a little adventure and seek where so few have gone before!

Never made it here on my last trip.

A friend was supposed to check it out, but he waved it off - saying the street was dark and the place seemed too far off the beaten path.

I have been to Toxic and stayed at Town Lodge numerous times since it opened. Toxic is a great place to have a few drinks, play pool or just chat with the Toxic Girls. All the girls will play pool. The girls will keep you in stitches with laughter. The bar can unpredictably become a jumping place. I always make it point to stop by. Town Lodge has some great rooms with great rates to match. I enjoy the quite stroll down Soi 18 especially at night and have made in all states of drunkenness without any problem. Have the Taxi drop you off at the Soi 20 alley or there's always Taxis passing thru the alley to catch. There are a couple Japanese Restaurants near Town lodge.

Ralph always knows where the parties are in BKK.
