Yep. Tops have it as do the Thai Miller's company (not that I have managed to find it yet).

Then I would be able to live in Thailand. For the Philippines I need to bring my own. The people selling rye bread import the rye themselves I am sure.

A while back I discovered in my little town in China, the wet market. or rather out the back of the wet market where the restaurants go to buy all there stuff in bulk. From Fresh salmon to imported NZ beef. I've been buying there for a while now and it pays to look around because the stock varies. A couple of weeks ago I got 5 KG of beautifully marbled NZ sirloin steak. Never seen or tasted anything like it in my life.
This last weekend I got a pile of lamb chops (2 racks, 13 chops in each rack) bloody delicious Rack of lamb for dinner on Sat with roast spuds and peas. That was comfort food if ever there was.
I'm with LT on the beetroot, don't even see it for sale here (same with avocados for some reason). A hamburgers not a hamburger without beetroot.
I picked up a 2 1/2 kilo block of aussie mature cheddar while I was at the wet market this weekend as well.
Can't find decent mustard no matter how hard I look though, just that crap colemans yellow stuff.
I really miss meat pies, even a microwave one from the servo would be good.
And weetbix, I love it for breakfast. The best I can do is go to Shenzhen and get weetabix, a reasonable pommy substitute, but still not the real deal.
And while we're on the subject, gravy mix.

I miss the Indian food from here, The Raj Restaurant On the Shore

Particularly the Bengal Tiger and the Green Bengal Chicken. Not exactly Western, but shits on any of the Indian food outside of the UK.

Dr. Pepper.........yes, that is another item I miss. But if you are a US citizen I think, not totally sure, that there is a Coke machine inside the US Embassy that has Dr. Pepper in it.

For some reason I just thought of that Tom Cruise movie where they break into the "company" to steal a disk

    Any takers?

As an aside, I did see Dr. Pepper tucked away in the corner of a fancy department store in China. A bit too far to go.

To be fair, you can't get a "proper" curry in UK either. But some how, I do miss those UK curries....
